Abraham, Andreanna’s older brother who will be going into 8th grade, came to take violin lessons after completing a summer school math course. I was amazed when he came in the first time, immediately picked up the violin and learned the beginner’s piece “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” in a period of five minutes. I have since started him on the next Suzuki piece, “Lightly Row”, and he has shown more and more tremendous musical ability and knowledge throughout the past few weeks. Abraham goes with the flow- it doesn’t matter when he has his lesson, lunchtime, or study period. But when it is his lesson time, it’s a joy to teach him and see him progress through his music.
